Lenswood Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2008
Everyone is getting very excited about Adelaide Hills.
We visited this up-and-coming region with its pretty rolling hills and cool, clean air.
It's as far from classic sun soaked Oz as you can imagine. And it's Neil Pike, the man behind this scintillating Sauvignon, who's leading the charge.
Neil is responsible for crafting some of Australia's finest cool-climate wines (both his wineries have 5 stars from Halliday) - and this delicious bottle is no exception. Pale yellow in colour and overflowing with fresh passion fruit, gooseberry and lime, all wrapped up in classic minerally elegance.
The perfect white for grilled fish, creamy pasta or salad dishes.
