Santa Ana Chardonnay Viognier

Is this Argentina's best white wine? Well, it was one of only 3 whites to scoop a Trophy at Argentina's 2009 Wine Awards, from a field of 600.

High praise indeed, but we expect nothing less from the brilliant Opi Sadler, who's won just about every top prize going. Santa Ana Chardonnay Viognier is an aromatic, intense white born out of Opi's dislike for overly oaked Chardonnays.

Instead he adds a splash of aromatic Viognier, giving the wine a lovely peachy nose and delicate finish. Nestled at the foot of the Andes, Opi's vines are nourished by glacial snowmelt and are ripened to bursting by some of the purest sunlight on the planet.

No wonder it tastes so good! Glinting gold with seductive aromas of ripe tropical fruit, white peach and honeysuckle.

Intensely flavoured, but silky smooth on the palate.

Would make an impressive aperitif or excellent match for grilled fish, roast chicken or hearty salads.
